PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE 2010

Welcome to the 2010 season.

As your newly elected President there are a number of things I would like to achieve this year. Among them are improved harmony, communication and involvement between the Executive, the delegates and the ‘average’ bowler.

We have a fresh look to the Executive team with five new faces out of the ten and already there are a number of new initiatives that we will be following up to hopefully increase bowling numbers and to raise the profile of the sport. Start thinking about a business house team for a tournament on 25 March 2010!

To improve communication all minutes of meetings will be appearing on the website and a monthly newsletter edited by Jacqui Ball will be starting at the beginning of the season. This newsletter won’t all be serious and Jacqui will welcome input from club members!

The administrative structure has been restructured slightly this year to spread the workload, with some non executive members helping out on subcommittees. One of the most exciting things in my opinion is that we have a number of very experienced bowlers that have made themselves available for coaching

I am available at all times to discuss any aspect of indoor bowls so if you have any ideas, criticism or comment please give me a call at 465 8255.
